Here, you will learn new skills on high-tech spray guns and other advanced tools and technologies, all while tapping into your own creativity. Our programs are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence and the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR).

You’ll find a range of student services on campus to support you throughout your time with us, including a women’s center, disability services, tutoring, mentoring, and more. Beyond our campus, like our name suggests, you’ll discover many lakes to enjoy, as well as forests, beaches, and other natural areas. You’ll also find fairgrounds, waterparks, and amusement parks not too far from the college.

Representing Women in the Workforce

"When I learned about the under-representation of women in the automotive industry, I decided to transform my interest in cars into a career. I was drawn to collision repair because it represents the intersection of science, creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship. The ACR Apprenticeship Program provides the perfect opportunity for a career-changer like me to gain the knowledge, skills, and practical experience I need to ensure a successful future for myself in this exciting field."

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

We’re looking for people with passion, a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a high school diploma or equivalent. To complete the program, you must obtain an internship with a qualified collision repair center. The majority of employers will require a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, a clean drug test, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
