Contra Costa College (CCC) offers hands-on, state-of-the-art training in automotive technology. Here, your time will be spent in an impressive on-campus automotive collision repair shop working with many different vehicles and the latest tools.

Our programs are approved by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, as well as the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence and the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR). STORY

Pursuing an Education During a Pandemic

David realized his passion for collision repair at just 15 while spending time with a cousin who worked refinishing cars. Despite beginning his education during the pandemic, David entered the Automotive Collision Repair Program at CCC with passion and excitement and has demonstrated the level of professional work ethic desired by top employers as well as a great capacity to follow instructions. He continues to move toward his goals and credits CCC with helping him figure out what he wants to do in life. David is currently employed at Barsotti’s Body and Fender and is expected to graduate in 2022.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

We’re looking for people with passion, a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a high school diploma or equivalent. To complete the program, you must obtain an internship with a qualified collision repair center. The majority of employers will require a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, a clean drug test, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
