HALEY'S
STORY

TSTC Provides Women with Skills for the Workforce

“My grandfather used to own a paint and body shop, and I would go to the shop as a child and watch repair work being done. I liked it. So I took automotive classes in high school and when it came time to select a college, I chose TSTC’s Waco campus. We spend our time actually working, which is important to me because I’m a hands-on learner. The program has given me all the skills and knowledge I need to start my career, and I’ve already secured my first job, which I’ll begin as soon as I graduate. So for any women considering this field, I say go for it – and ignore what anyone else says.”

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

We’re looking for people with passion, a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
